Introducing RaSa
RASA is a passionate and sustainable initiative by Hrdya Sara, dedicated to honoring my parents, especially my father, who devoted his life to fabrics and used his skills to uplift those around him. This program is a tribute to his legacy, blending tradition, artistry, and compassion to keep the beauty of fabric craftsmanship alive.
Through RASA, I also seek to ease the regret of not seeing my Sara wear a saree. It’s a way to celebrate the grace and tradition of sarees, allowing their beauty to live on through this project. RASA goes beyond honoring the past; it’s a sustainable program that creates employability for special children, artists, weavers, and various other stakeholders who will contribute to and grow with this initiative. It is a platform for empowerment, creativity, and inclusion, keeping the legacy of craftsmanship alive for future generations.
