We must pause to think and wake up to the fact that we are all equal and we all deserve equal opportunities. Unfortunately, there are still so many people living with disabilities, waiting to be respected, accepted, encouraged, celebrated, and given the right platform and opportunity to showcase their talents and live a life of dignity. Time to reach out to such beautiful beings and celebrate them not just today, but all through our journey of life.
Taking this opportunity, we at Hrdya Sara are extremely delighted to launch ‘Pehchaan’, a new initiative for nurturing talents amongst the differently abled people in our society. Pehchaan provides a golden platform for children and individuals with disabilities to showcase their unique talents to the world, empowering them to gain independence.
Vijay - healing art of music
This is an inspiring story of Vijay a 21-year-old blind man, who with his incredible singing talent and altruistic mindset continues to serve humanity, with a purpose! Yes, despite life's odds, challenges, and hardships, he endeavors to educate, enrich, and empower many children who lack sight and vision like him. How? Through the healing art of music.
Shubh - a powerhouse of talent
Little master Shubh Pathak, all of 14, is a powerhouse of talent. Hailing from Noida, he was diagnosed with autism at a very young age. But, that never stopped him from being an achiever. He paints, cycles, skates, and plays the keyboard too! His talents have won him many prizes in various competitions.Not just that!! He loves cooking and baking, which according to him are truly therapeutic. What's more?! He has recently started to model for big brands in India. Happy welcome to the HSF family, Shubh
Shetty- choosing LIFE with a purpose!
A banker by profession, a dancer and actor by passion, Sachin Shetty is a great inspiration for many! He chose LIFE with the purpose of entertaining others, despite being diagnosed with 'Distal Spinal Muscular Atrophy', a very rare neuromuscular disorder that threatens to worsen over time!
With a strong belief in his own abilities, he has overcome his shortcomings and has defied all odds of life. Today, he rocks the World of entertainment by donning multiple hats that of a Voice-over artist, Host of a weekly show at ‘Radio Udaan’, Content creator, Banker, Actor, Dancer, Motivational speaker, and whatnot! Hrdyasara is happy & proud to welcome Sachin Shetty 🙂
Dhrov, aged 15, is a powerhouse of talent
Diagnosed with autism at the tender age of two, his love for colours, tones, shades, shapes, lines, and textures caught the attention of his parents.
Encouraged and nurtured by them he grew up creating spectacular paintings, which won him many National and International awards and recognitions.
About 150 of his exhibited paintings have already been sold to date, a few of which he has donated to social causes too!
Standing tall in all aspects, Dhrov has totally defied the ‘disability’ label and continues to leave an indelible mark through all his paintings and is a proud possession of the Art World! Hrdya Sara is proud to feature such a gem in our Pehchaan series today ❤️

With the blessings and wishes of the Universe, Hrdya Sara's project 'Pehachaan' begins it's journey today by showcasing the best of talents to a wider audience.Introducing our first talent, Pradeep Kumar, who proved that one needs a heart full of passion, and not just the
eyes, to be an inspiration to the World.People like him are the ones with vision, who with their divine and beautiful music, dispel every darkness!

Who said autism is a barrier! When you have support of dedicated parents and teachers in your life then nothing is impossible. Our Devansh has a memory of a genius. He can sing countless songs without forgetting one single word.

Vicky
This is 21 year old Vicky. A musician who lost his eyesight when he was just 7 years old. He takes the stage with a bold vision without real vision! This multi talented gem, takes the centerstage at family functions with his singing talent, in addition to playing the keyboard and
dholak, effortlessly.Not just that! With a penchant for comedy, Vicky strikes interesting conversations with the audience in between his musical performances by sharing jokes and real-time incidents, laced with humour.Hrdya Sara is proud to showcase such a multifaceted personality on Pehchaan this week!
Sanjay and Sanju
There are few people in this world who even after their disability are capable of great things in life. Who with their 'never give up' attitude and determination pursue their dreams and continue to inspire others. One such couple is Sanjay and Sanju who were born blind, but etched the words of confidence, grit and dignity onto the book called the “Journey of Life”.
A glimpse of them doing what they like the most singing old bollywood songs and bhajans. Hrdya Sara wishes them the best!
Shreyan

Shreyan is a 14 year old autism warrior with incredible talent in music. He plays electronic keyboard and has fascinating command over classical and contemporary music. He is also a drummer and a painter who loves to play with colours.He has won many prestigious awards like Tata sabal awards, Talent Hunt 2020 organized by NCZCC, Kids Icon award, Indian besties award, Rasthra Gaurav award, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav competition, Divya Kala Shakti Competition and many more.Shreyan is an inspiration for many children like him to break the glass ceiling of disabilities and achieve success.
Shibani Ghosh
Meet Shibani Ghosh, a visually impaired and mildly autistic young girl, who began her musical stage performance at the age of 9!Today at 24, she is pursuing her B. A in Vocal Music from Rabindrabharati University, Kolkata and is associated with All India Radio, Akashbani, Kolkata, as it's permanent singer. In addition, Shibani works with renowned music directors like Ashoke Bhadra, Abhishek Das, Amit Anjan, Sujoy Bhattacharya and Pritam Dey in their new musical compositions too.
Shibani has performed at many prestigious sangeet melas, including" Tathya Sankriti Doptor", Television programmes across Bangla channels and participated in "Amar Bhupen da", music reality show 2019, to name a few. From receiving many distinguished awards & recognitions like "Role Model Award"2019 from the West Bengal Govt for being an outstanding singer, to winning the "Alaap 2018" music title, to receiving the Rashtra Gourav Award 2022, she has been a winsome girl, all through!Not just that! She was ranked 3rd at an all India based virtual singing competition organized by Fortune Vastushilpa and famous Pruthviraj Theaters and was also selected as "Election Icon" 2020 of Nadia, West Bengal, in assembly Election for showcasing her extra ordinary musical singing talent.

Beyond her musical abilities, Sameeksha's artistry extends to the realm of dance, where she excels as a skilled kathak dancer.Her performances have graced numerous stages, demonstrating not only her exceptional skills but also her unwavering spirit.Sameeksha's journey serves as an inspiring example of how embracing one's unique qualities can lead to incredible achievements and an enriched life, setting an example for others to follow.
